The purpose of this ministry is to celebrate Communion of the Sick with parishioners who are unable to attend regular liturgy and to pay particular attention to their special needs.

Our Parish Homebound Ministers, working in pairs or in a group, have volunteered to visit homes and in residences, assisting our parish priest to provide them Spiritual Care and receiving Holy Communion on Sundays. Many of the Ministers are joined by their wives on these visits, which has made the visits so much more personable and enjoyable.

The rewards from these visits have been many-fold. They are really appreciated by the Homebound and it keeps them connected to the parish.

It has also created new friendships, and has made it a rewarding Ministry to all those involved. These visits are available to all parishioners upon request by calling our parish priest or Ted Dusyk at 306 543 2601.
