\nOur Catechism program is not a \u201cdrop-off and go\u201d type of program. Fr. Basil is extremely dedicated to catechizing your children and that is why he will be spending time with you, the parents, during your child\u2019s catechism classes to talk with you and teach you more about our Ukrainian Catholic Faith.
\nIn addition, this is an opportunity for you, as parents, to invest in one another and in your faith. Are you a wealth of information? Come and share it! Are you unsure of the teachings of the Church? Come and be filled! We can\u2019t give what we don\u2019t have. If your child\u2019s faith is to grow, it\u2019s important for you to take part in Adult Catechism and other faith development opportunities our Church offers. We need each other! Take advantage of this forum to discuss how you, as parents, make the faith relevant in your child\u2019s life.
\nIt is essential that you are just as committed to catechizing your children as your priest and their teachers are. Your time will be well spent! God commands that we put Him first above all other things. Let us move Him to the top of our priority list and set an excellent example for our children. Please make every effort to take advantage of this time by coming into the church with your child instead of just dropping him or her off!<\/p>\n
